What UPF rating does the GoldenOur hat have?
The GoldenOur Sun Hat is UPF 50 certified, meaning it blocks 98% of UV rays — only 1/50th of UV radiation passes through the fabric. UPF 50 is rated "Very Good" sun protection.

What is the difference between UPF and SPF?
SPF measures how well sunscreen protects skin from UVB rays. UPF measures how much UV radiation — both UVA and UVB — a fabric blocks. A UPF 50 hat provides consistent protection built into the fabric itself, without reapplication.

Do I still need sunscreen if I wear a UPF 50 hat?
Yes. The hat protects the areas it covers — your face, head, and neck. You should still apply sunscreen to any exposed skin including your arms, chest, and the back of your neck.

What is the brim width?
The GoldenOur Sun Hat has a wide brim designed to shade your face, neck, and shoulders. The snap sides allow you to fold the brim into a cowboy-inspired silhouette.

What is the hat made of?
The GoldenOur hat is made with an organic blend of 80% linen/20% cotton and a UPF 50 protective coating. Lightweight and breathable for all-day outdoor wear.

Is the hat waterproof?
The hat is water-resistant but not fully waterproof. It is designed for beach days, travel, and outdoor wear — not swimming.

What sizes does the hat come in?

How do I care for my GoldenOur hat?
Spot clean only. Reshape the brim when damp and air dry. Do not machine wash.

Where do you ship?
We currently ship within the United States only.

How long does shipping take?
Orders are processed within 1–2 business days. Delivery takes 5–7 business days from the date of shipment.

What is your return policy?
We accept returns within 14 days of delivery. Items must be unworn, unused, with tags attached and in original packaging. Email hello@golden-our.com to start a return.
